Tunisia and Algeria condemn the terrorist attack which targeted a water pumping station in Egypt

Tunisia condemned the terrorist attack which targeted one of the water pumping stations west of the Sinai in Egypt, which resulted in the death and injury of numerous members of the Egyptian armed forces.

In a statement today, the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Tunisia’s solidarity with Egypt in its fight against terrorism, offering condolences to the families of the victims and their families and wishing a speedy recovery to all wounded.

Algeria also condemned the terrorist attack which targeted a water lifting station in the Suez Canal in Egypt, which resulted in many deaths and injuries among the Egyptian armed forces.

In its statement, the Algerian Foreign Ministry expressed its full solidarity with the Egyptian government and people and its full support for the Egyptian authorities’ efforts to combat terrorism, expressing its condolences to the families of the victims and its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured person.
