Tunisia. Inflation rose to 9.2% in October

According to the National Institute of Statistics, inflation in Tunisia rose slightly in October to 9.2% after 9.1% in September.

The institute said food prices rose 12.9%, driven mainly by price increases of 33.3% for eggs, 21.1% for mutton and 20.8% for edible oils.

Prices for fresh vegetables increased by 18.5%, for beef – by 15.1%, for poultry – by 15%.
