Tunisian Nourhan Belhaj wins silver pushing the performance at the Tokyo Paralympics

TOKYO: Tunisian Nourhan Belhaj Salem won the silver medal in the women’s F40 category in athletics at the Paralympic Games on Saturday in course in the Japanese capital, Tokyo. Norhan finished second with a record 8.33 meters, behind the Polish Renata Slivinska, who won the gold medal with 8.75 meters, taking first place. Nigerian Loretta Oni finished third with 8.29 meters to win the bronze medal. (Dpa)
