Tunisian tennis player Anas Jaber, currently ranked third in the world, has announced her withdrawal from the upcoming tournaments in Doha and Dubai due to her health conditions. She shared her announcement on her official Facebook page, stating that her team doctor had advised her to undergo a simple surgery in order to ensure she could return to the stadium to compete at her best. She also apologized to her fans in the Middle East who were looking forward to seeing her compete. Jaber has yet to win a Grand Slam title, but she has had impressive results in the past, including reaching the finals of Wimbledon and the US Open in 2022, and winning the Berlin Championship in the same year. She also lost the final of the Berlin Championship Rome in 2022.
