The Directorate General of Civil Protection of the Ministry of the Interior and the Authority for Disaster and Emergency Management of the Turkish Ministry of the Interior have signed a letter of intent on the management of emergencies and disasters. Since 2019, 791 Qataris have benefited from training programs organized by the Turkish Security Directorate General in the fields of sports safety, intervention in mass events and the protection of facilities against terrorist practices. Insurance agreement In October 2019, Ankara and Doha signed an agreement to cooperate on security measures for the World Cup, under the name “Letter of intent on cooperation in the implementation of major events”. The agreement was signed in Ankara by Enge and the head of the Qatar Security Committee in the Supreme Committee for Surrender and Inheritance, Major General Ibrahim Khalil Al-Mohannadi.
