Turkey. Istanbul Airport ranks first in Europe in terms of flight intensity

Istanbul Airport in Turkey leads among European airports in terms of the number of daily flights during the period from 13 to 19 July.

According to a report published by the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) for the period from 13 to 19 July, Istanbul Airport exceeded European airports in terms of the number of daily flights by 1,333 flights.

The airport surpassed Paris Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol airports in terms of the number of flights during the same period.

The report states that Turkey’s Antalya Airport ranks seventh in Europe with 937 daily flights.

He said that Istanbul Airport ranks eighth in the world in terms of the number of flights.

According to the report, Turkey ranks sixth in Europe in terms of daily flights with 3,526 flights.
