One woman was killed and another wounded by Houthi militia artillery shelling over densely populated villages in southwestern Yemen’s Taiz governorate, hours after a similar crime that killed a woman and injured her husband and wife. son.

Local sources said the Houthi militia targeted Al-Habil villages, which are administratively affiliated with Jabal Habashi district, west of Taiz, on Wednesday evening with a series of artillery shells, one of which destroyed the home of citizen Abdul Salam Ahmed Ghaleb over the heads of its residents.

According to sources, Ghaleb’s wife was killed, her sister was seriously injured and parts of the house were destroyed.

This came just hours after a woman was killed and her husband and son were injured following a fire in their home following the bombing of the Houthi militia in the eastern part of Taiz city.

Local and human rights sources said the Houthi militia targeted a residential building crowded with displaced people in the Shamasi neighborhood with medium weapons, causing a fire. in one of the apartments.

Sources indicated that the fire resulted in the death of a woman named Anisa Ali Abdo and the wounding of her husband, Abdullah Saeed, and her son with severe burns. They were taken to Al-Thawra hospital for treatment.

The Houthi militia doubled down on its violations against civilians and received painful blows on the fighting fronts, as a kind of collective revenge against civilians.
