UEFA reveals Nabil Fekir’s ruling

The European Football Association (UEFA) has imposed a three-day ban on Spain’s Real Betis star, Frenchman Nabil Fekir.

The penalty for Fekir comes after being sent off with a direct red card during his team’s clash with Bayer Leverkusen in the fourth round of the European Football League group stage.

England referee Anthony Taylor, Fekir, was sent off at the last minute of the match at the Bay Arena on 4 November after an argument with German national team midfielder Karim Demirbay, who also received a red card.

Due to this penalty, Fekir will not be able to participate in the last two matches of the group stage, against the Hungarian Ferencvaros. in home and against Celtic in Glasgow, nor in the first round first leg of the next round, which Betis play in February 2022, in the European League or the European Conference League.
