A man from the UK was arrested in Spain for its alleged role in a huge hack of high profile Twitter account that United States Department of justice said Wednesday.and celebrities in 2020, the
Spanish National Police arrested 22-year–Old Joseph O’Connor on behalf of US authorities. In a criminal complaint filed in Federal Court in San Francisco, O’Connor was also charged with computer intrusions related to acquisitions of TikTok and Snapchat user accounts, together with cyberstalking of a minor. O’Connor was charged with a total of 10 counts.
Hacker took over more of 130 accounts, including those of Joe Biden, Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Kanye West and Barack Obama, in July 2020 is deceived people in sending more of $ 100,000 of Bitcoin to the addresses mentioned in the tweets. Clark, accused of be the “mind” behind hacking Twitter, then pleaded guilty in exchange for a three-year prison phrase.
