Ukraine received a loan of 7.4 million euros from Germany

The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine announced that Kyiv will receive 7.4 million euros from the German Reconstruction Fund to provide loans to small and medium-sized businesses.

The Ukrainian ministry indicated that this amount includes 7 million euros in the form of a loan and 400 thousand euros in the form of a grant. Ukraine will receive a loan for a period of 30 years with a loan term of 10 years.

Ukrainian Finance confirmed that “the money will be sent from the Business Development Fund to partner banks to finance projects of small and medium-sized businesses in the national currency.”

She added that this would “support liquidity in financial institutions and allow these projects to invest in efficient energy projects in times of war.”
