Ukrainian Defense Minister: We need more weapons

Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov acknowledged the heavy losses and exhaustion of the Ukrainian army and demanded more weapons from his Western partners.

According to him, the Javelin and Nlaw short-range missile systems are no longer included in the list of priority equipment of the Ukrainian forces, Kiev now needs long-range artillery.

“We have to develop, replace and modify our units, because we have heavy casualties. We want more armor, more weapons from our partners. We have to reorganize on some sides, modernize the fortifications and plan a strategy,” said Reznikov in an interview with the Wall Street Journal new operations.
