On the other hand, the Al Hilal Club officially announced yesterday that its right-back, Muhammad Al-Buraik, had contracted the Corona virus, about a week before the expected derby against Al-Nasr.
The official Al Hilal Club Twitter account wrote: “Medical examinations conducted by members of Al Hilal’s first football team showed that the player, Muhammad Al-Buraik, was infected with the Corona virus.”
And he continued, “and the safety of the rest has been confirmed.”
The team resumed training yesterday, after the administration had decided to suspend training on Tuesday, to ensure the safety of the players, after they had undergone a PCR exam.
On Thursday 16 December, Al-Hilal will meet with Al-Nassr in a postponed match of the eighth round of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional League, while his match against Al-Fayhaa will be postponed from the fourth round, tomorrow, Friday.
It is worth noting that this is the second time that Muhammad Al-Buraik has been infected with the Corona virus, as he was first infected in September 2020, when the team participated in the Asian Champions League, hosted by Qatar in the system of assembly in that moment and the team was not in able to continue his career in that tournament, after most of the team members were infected with the virus.
