For his part, the general secretary of the Saudi Football Association, Ibrahim Al-Qassem, confirmed that the organization by the Kingdom of the Conference of General Secretaries of Local and Regional Federations of 2022 reflects the position that the Kingdom has reached at the level of hosting the major sporting events of recent years.
Al-Qasim appreciated the great interest of the wise leadership in the sports sector in general and football in particular, which led to hosting such important sporting events.
The Secretary General of the Saudi Federation thanked His Highness, the Minister of Sport, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, for the great effort and support in exploiting all the possibilities in order to advance Saudi football. in so that the Kingdom becomes a global destination for hosting various sporting events on a regional and global level.
Al-Qasim stressed that Saudi Football Association president Yasser Al-Mishal ordered to use all possibilities to host the conference and show it in a way that reflects the image of the Kingdom, similar to all the recent sporting events that have generated a wide worldwide resonance.
