The Russian Defense Ministry announced earlier today the successful destruction of the Ukrainian S-200 missile over the territory of the Kaluga region. The air defense system was closely monitored in the Maloyaroslavets and Zhukovsky regions as well.

Commenting on the Ukrainian drone attacks, Peskov said, “The nature of this activity is practically terrorist, as it primarily affects residential buildings and structures. While some minor damages may be unavoidable, it is important to recognize that our air defenses and necessary protection systems are working effectively.”

The Special Military Operation Continues

When asked whether the Kremlin, particularly the president, is concerned about the increasing attacks from Ukrainian drones, Peskov added, “This issue existed before, and all our air defense systems are working quite efficiently to address it.” The special military operation will continue to eliminate this terrorist threat in the future.
