Kirstie typed in view of her 426,500 followers: “I genuinely think this kind of b****cks is doing real damage to an entire generation.

“My kids go on at least 4 holidays a year, they are unbelievably spoilt, their life is one I could only have dreamed of, and I had a hugely privileged upbringing.

“They are all watching movies ffs!” (Sic)

Kirstie is married to property developer Ben Andersen, and they have two sons, Bay Atlas and Hercules born in 2006 and 2008.

She is also stepmother to her partner’s two children, Hal and Orion, from a previous relationship.

The TV personality typed the scathing post in response to a follower who had hit out at her for previously justifying why she had decided to sit her children in economy “years ago”, as she sat in premium class while jetting off on a luxury holiday.

The follower wrote: “So you allow the older children to be responsible for the younger ones on an aeroplane!

“Seems unfair and irresponsible, not sitting beside your younger children.

Despite Kirstie’s reassurance that her children enjoyed a “privileged upbringing”, some followers were left concerned after the revelation that her children enjoyed an impressive ”four holidays a year”.

One said: “4 holidays a year ffs have you lost your mind!. What have kids got to strive/aspire/look forward to when it all just lands in their lap.” (sic)

Another replied: “You have no idea. They learn to aspire to offer their own families that when they grow up. They learn by watching a mum and dad with a bl**dy good work ethic that equates to having a nice life.”

However, others agreed with Kirstie’s decision to seat her children alone, as it showed they know how to “behave” themselves.

A third commented: “Seriously?! I think it says a lot for how you have brought up your children knowing that they can be trusted to sit together and behave. I think it says a lot more about people that think this is a bad thing and the way they have not taught their children how to behave.”

Kirstie first addressed the subject of her children sitting separately to her back in 2018 during an interview with The Sun newspaper.

She pointed out the money saved from not buying two more expensive seats allows her family to “take a shed load of holidays”.

“Club Class should be a huge treat that you’ve worked for.

“If kids get used to Club class what do they have to work towards?” she said.

But others questioned the impact on other people on the flight.

One former crew member said it was “unfair” on staff and other passengers who end up as “babysitters”.

Responding, Kirstie said she always introduces herself to the cabin crew and tells them to alert her in the event of any problems.

Gordon Ramsay has also previously revealed he and his wife fly first class, while his children sit in economy.
