The Tokyo Olympics, which was postponed in 2020 as in result of the COVID-19 pandemic is now moving forward, despite health specialists calling for another postponement or definitive cancellation.

Here are the athletes who they tested positive for COVID-19 so far.

Thabiso Monyane and Kamohelo Mahlatsi

Katie Lou Samuelson

Katie Lou Samuelson, a member of 3. of the USA team on 3 basketball team, tested positive for COVID-19. She will be replaced by Jackie Young, a 23 year old who plays for the axes of Las Vegas.

Samuelson hadn’t done it yet made the trip to Tokyo.

Neil Powell

Neil Powell is South Africa’s rugby sevens coach, tested positive for COVID-19 after arrival in Japan. he is currently isolate with the team in Kagoshima.

An American gymnast

The United States Olympic Committee (USOC) confirmed that a US gymnast tested positive for COVID-19, but I didn’t mention it. (It’s not Simone Biles.) According to the USOC the athlete in the question is an alternative and not a member of the main team.

Bradley Beal and Jerami Grant

Bradley Beal, a basketball player on the United States team, was ruled out of the Olympic Games, for healthy and safety reasons. Jerami Grant, another member of Basketball team was also placed in health e safety protocol, but some still hope it will arrive in Tokyo.

Alex de Minaur

Alex de Minaur, Australian highest Ranked Tennis player, tested positive for COVID-19 and had to pull out of the Olympic Games. It tested positive on 10th of July.

Team GB

Six members of the Great Britain Olympics team due to come in in isolation after being exposed to a COVID-19-19 case on a flight to Tokyo. I’m currently training in isolation and it will be in able to mix with other athletes once pass two test PCR for COVID-19.
