United beat Sociedad, but the Spanish team is in head to the group of the European League

Manchester United beat Real Sociedad 1-0 today, Thursday, but the Spanish side have overtaken European Football League Group E on goal difference and will advance to the knockout stages with the English side. Feyenoord beat Lazio 1-0 and classified in head to Group F after a thrilling final tournament that left all four teams in the group with eight points. Denmark’s Mityaland took second place after beating Austrian Sturm Graz 2-0, and Lazio will move up to the Conference League after finishing third. Group G leaders Freiburg drew 1-1 in Karabakh and French side Nantes will go to the knockout stage after a 2-0 win over Olympiacos. Group H leaders Fransvaros from Hungary qualified for the round of 16 despite losing 1-0 to Trabzonspor. Monaco will go to the knockout stage after defeating Belgrade’s Red Star 4-1 and occupying Trabzonspor in the qualifying spot to play in Conference League. (Reuters)
