Russian President Vladimir Putin, on the eve of his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Moscow, denounced what he called US policy to contain Russia and China, indicating it has an unprecedented sharp nature.

“We are grateful for the balanced position of the People’s Republic of China regarding the unfolding events in Ukraine and for their understanding of her real background and hers cause.
