Vanessa Bryant Takes Legal Action Against LA County Sheriff Over Photos From Kobe Bryant Helicopter Crash Site

Vanessa Bryant has really taken legal action against Los Angeles County Constable Alex Villanueva and his department over photos that were taken at the site of the January helicopter crash that removed her hubby Kobe, kid Gianna and 7 others.

” Confronted with a scene of unthinkable loss, no fewer than eight constable’s deputies at the crash site pulled out their individual cellular phone and snapped photos of the dead kids, parents, and coaches. The deputies took these pictures for their own individual gratification,” the claim, sent in L.A. County Superior Court just recently, stated.

The match then indicated reporting from the Los Angeles Times, which found that after a bartender made a demonstration that a deputy had really been revealing off the photos at a bar in Norwalk, Villanueva informed they would not be disciplined if they erased the images.

” Upon finding out that his deputies had taken and shared the gratuitous pictures, which plainly violate the victims’ households’ humans rights to control images of their liked ones’ remains, Sheriff Villanueva did not inform the families, start an investigation, or examine the deputies’ phones to determine whether and how the photos had actually been shared,” the fit stated. “He rather directed a cover-up, summoning the deputies to the Lost Hills station and informing them that, if they erased the images, they would deal with no discipline.”

” The Constable’s Department’s outrageous actions have caused Mrs. Bryant serious psychological distress and compounded the injury of losing Kobe and Gianna,” the healthy specified. “Ms. Bryant feels ill at the idea of complete strangers glaring at images of her departed husband and child, and she lives in worry that she or her children will one day confront dreadful images of their liked ones online.”
