Video.. A military depositor breaks in in a Lebanese bank by force of arms

THE media Lebanese citizens reported on Tuesday that a military depositor attempted by force of arms to storm a branch of the Bank of Lebanon and Overseas in Sidon, in the south of the country.

The depositor’s attempt to attack the bank occurred after he opposed a decision on the imposition of additional conditions on the use of the “Sarafa” platform, set up by the Central Bank of Lebanon to regulate the sale and purchase of foreign cash currencies .

Lebanon has recently seen depositors raid several banks in different parts of the country to ask for their money back in light of the economic crisis the country is facing.

Lebanon has been suffering for nearly three years from difficult economic conditions, which have caused the value of the local currency to collapse, and a crisis in the banking and banking sector.
