The luxury plane spent almost a year in Germany to prepare its cabin for presidential use before heading recently in Ireland to paint the exterior.

In 2006, the German company Lufthansa ordered 20 aircraft of the same model. While I was 19, one stayed in the United States to be included in the test flight at the request of Boeing.

The plane had already carried some test from 2015 to 2018 before settling in the Pinal Airpark in Arizona without being used until Egypt decided to buy it.

Several countries, including the United States and some Gulf states, use Boeing 747s, nicknamed “Queen of the Sky “, to carry kings, presidents and high officials on their foreign flights.

Due to the operating costs and the level of luxury it offers, the “Queen of Heaven” is not widely used in commercial aviation, especially after the blow to the travel and tourism industry due to the Covid-19 epidemic.

The “Boeing 747-800” consumes a large amount of fuel at a rate of 10,000 liters of gasoline per hour, as its operating cost exceeds $ 18,000 per hour.

According to Boeing 2022 pricing, the new 747-800 is worth $ 418.4 million.
