Volvo launches first electric SUV “Polestar 3”

Polestar gave a taste of its next electric SUV, the Polestar 3, which will be the first Volvo sub-brand to be produced in the United States.

The Swedish carmaker shared the first image of the new one auto luxury electric that compete with the BMW iX and the Jaguar I-Pace.

The next electric SUV, which is expected to be introduced in 2022, is in the premium segment.

The SPA2 arrives with the next generation XC90 SUV and Polestar 3 in 2022. The SPA2 also supports XC40 Recharge and C40 Recharge.

Polestar, which started out as Volvo’s high-performance sub-brand, has emerged as one of the most exciting electric vehicle companies on the market in recent years.

The company, jointly owned by Volvo and its parent company, Geely, recently announced plans to go public through a merger with a private acquisition company, or SPAC.
