The former Egyptian International Football Association has appointed Wael Gomaa as director of the “Pharaohs” team.

And the Egyptian Federation declared in a statement published on his Twitter account: “The Egyptian Football Federation, led by Ahmed Mujahid, has approved the full training of the technical and administrative staff of the first national team, after having examined the opinion of the new coach. , as follows: Carlos Queiroz as technical director, Diaa El-Sayed as Year coach, Mohamed Shawky as coach, Essam El-Hadary as goalkeeper coach, Wael Gomaa as national team coach, Mohamed Salah as administrative director, with the continuation of the team physician led by Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Mahmoud, a massage therapist.

The statement added: “To add to the medical staff, a Portuguese expert, who will be recruited by the technical director, with an assistant coach and a performance analyst.”

The Egyptian Federation had announced the appointment of the Portuguese Carlos Queiroz as the new technical director of the “Pharaohs” team, in place of the local coach Hossam El-Badri, sacked after the 1-1 with Gabon in the second round of the African qualifiers for the “Qatar 2022” World Cup.
