Warcraft 3: Forged delayed until 2020

Warcraft 3: Reforged has a release date of January 28, 2020. Blizzard Entertainment previously announced that the revamped real-time strategy game 2019 is set to be released.

“Although we worked hard to get Reforged in your hands before the end of the year, we felt that it would take a little more development time to fine-tune it,” Blizzard said in a blog post. “As always, our goal is to respect the high standards that you adhere to.”

The Warcraft 3 remaster was originally introduced at BlizzCon 2018. The developer said it was reforging parts of the Warcraft 3 campaign to fit the story of World of Warcraft. However, the release of Warcraft 3: Reforged in January will be the same story as the original release, executive producer Robert Bridenbecker Polygon said at BlizzCon 2019 in November.

Instead, players get “revived images, an epic single player campaign with over 60 missions, a balanced online game, a range of contemporary social and matchmaking features, and a variety of games created by players.”

Pre-orders are available now in the Blizzard Shop – $ 29.99 for the game or $ 39.99 for the “Spoils of War Edition,” with Warcraft 3: Forged Skins and Extras for other Blizzard games like Overwatch, World of Warcraft and Diablo are added 3.
