Google is preparing to show the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro on October 6. While we're pretty sure they will be among the best Android phones, the most recent leaks tell us they will not be a significant upgrade over the Pixel 6 series.
However, Google seems to work on improving many of the small details. The latest findings point to support for dual eSIM and face unlock.
Google listed the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro (cheetah and panther, respectively) on the Google Play Console, as noted by Android expert Mishaal Rahman.
Rahman was able to glean some intriguing nuggets from the publicly accessible data, even though the company has since removed the entries.
The two most recent Pixel models support eSIM MEP (short for Multiple Enabled Profiles). This means they can emulate the dual SIM functionality of earlier Pixels, which depended on one physical SIM card and one eSIM profile to provide this functionality,
