Based on Jonathan Stroud's similar-titled book series, Joe Cornish will soon release the British detective thriller television series Lockwood & Co. on Netflix. The first episode of the eight-episode season will air on January 27, 2023.

Beginning on July 5, 2021, filming for Lockwood & Co. took place in and around London for eight months before finishing on March 15, 2022. It has since been announced that Lockwood & Co will hit theatres everywhere on January 27, 2023.

Joseph Murray Cornish is an English comedian and director born on December 20, 1968. He formed the comic team Adam and Joe with his longtime collaborator in comedy, Adam Buxton. Attack the Block, Cornish's first film as a director, was released in 2011.

In the middle of London's haunting pandemic, three juvenile ghost hunters are the focus of Lockwood & Co. The group consists of two talented males and a girl with "amazing psychic talents" (like Eleven from Stranger Things).

The young psychic Lucy Carlyle (Ruby Stokes) teams up with Anthony Lockwood (Cameron Chapman) and George Cubbins (Ali Hadji-Heshmati) at their fledgling business, Lockwood & Co.
