Week 15 Fantasy RB Rankings: Todd Grulley, Raheem Moster moves up during fantasy playoffs

-

Our weekly RB scores of Week 15 will be affected by injuries – it’s just a matter of where the players ultimately end up falling. Josh Jacobs and Derrick Henry are both weekday fantasies that hurt a little (Jacobs more than Henry). There is also a Le’Veon Bell disease ahead of a football game on Thursday night, with new injuries to Derrius Guice, Rashaad Penny and Bo Scarbrough and existing injuries to James Conner, Damien Williams and Jordan Howard. If you’re still alive in the fantasy playoffs, there will be plenty of practice reports that will pay attention throughout the week.

Some of the situations seem simple. If Jacobs (shoulder) loses Week 15 like he did in Week 14, DeAndre Washington becomes a solid fantasy game against the Jaguars. Henry is less likely to lose time, although he did, one would expect Dion Lewis to be the main beneficiary. And if Bell is still ill, Bilal Powell will come from 21 touchdowns and likely repeat a similar workload as the Jets try to keep Lamar Jackson on the sideline.

WEEK 15 RATING NON REPORTS:
Quarterback | Wide receiver Tight end D / ST | Kicker

It’s also pretty straightforward in Washington – if Guice does, Adrian Peterson should see a ton of work after 20 races and a touchdown in Week 14. It could be the last gateway to the future Hall of Famer, if And facing the Eagles defensive tackle isn’t exactly a dream matchup in Week 15.

Penny’s knee injury mainly means that Chris Carson’s owners don’t have to worry about competing for the rest of the way, making him a rock-solid RB1. Scarbrough’s nail injury, if severe, would mean that you can ignore Detroit’s back end for the rest of the way unless Kerryon Johnson (knee) is actually activated by the injured reserve for Week 16.

Aside from injuries, watch out for tough matchups for Devonta Freeman and Joe Mixon in Week 15 as they face the 49ers and Patriots, respectively. Conner is expected behind his shoulder injury, though a matchup with Buffalo is not great. On the other side of the coin, we’d like to set up a Tampa Bay behind Detroit’s violent defense and suggest Ronald Jones if he should, but there’s not enough certainty in this backfield to do anything more than Jones and Peyton Barber as FLEX.
