Week 16 Fantasy Rankings: Kicker

Week 16 is finally here. All your blood, sweat and tears brought you to the fantastic football championship game. There’s no better feeling than playing for a title, even if it’s just a substantially rated championship based on real-life people’s actions that you’ll probably never meet. Thank goodness it won’t come down to a game-stealing kick because you’ve got rid of kickers before this season. Wait … does your league still have kickers? Do you really need some fantasy kicker week 16 ratings? Well, thankfully for you, I wrote a few more words and put some names.

It’s time-saving, and that means there’s no doubt – it’s not lazy and doesn’t change your kicker just because you don’t want to spend time doing it. Just as I informed you last week, two of the biggest factors when picking a kicker this time of year are if you lose count against you and what the weather forecast is. We will make adjustments as the week goes on due to the last.

WEEK 16 RATING NO PRESENCE:
Quarterback | Running back Wide receiver Tight end D / ST

At first glance, one thing stands out this week: Matt Prater gets to come back and kick in the thin air of Denver. We know how exciting he was as a fantastic kicker during his time with the Broncos and so the intrigue returns this week (weather permitting). We also have Zane Gonzalez, Matt Gay and Younghoe Koo as high as they were all season because they just keep kicking.

If you’re in for a tough kicker spot for some reason, give Josh Lambo a try. The use of his big foot in the dome of Atlanta against a defense that would allow the ball to move could be repaid.

As I mentioned above, these rankings will be updated throughout the week if there are kicker moves later or in relation to the adverse weather, so check back later in the week.
