Week 17 Fantasy TE Rankings: Tyler Higbee, Austin Hooper matchups make great ‘starts’

Leave the week 17 tight end rating to be still boring. It was the least changing position of the season, and those fantastic football owners playing in the last regular NFL weekly have no excitement here. At this point, there is almost no chance you will have made your final without a strong TE, so chances are you will not be looking for the waiver wire to power someone this last week.

The biggest revelation later in the season remains Tyler Higbee. It has achieved 100 meters in four straight weeks, definitely taking you to the title game. And it gets even better – it takes the Cardinals to Week 17. This is a matchup dream for Higbee, a player many would not expect to win in their fantasy championships but now someone with a great chance to do so for championships that ended last week and now those ending this week.

Joining Higbee for the big train matchup is Austin Hooper, who returns to health to help fantasy owners down the stretch and now tackles Tampa Bay in Week 17. The matchup for Zach Ertz against the Giants is also one worth waiting for after Dwayne Haskins dropped all of New York in Week 16.

If you get to this point and need a current, you need not fear – the top goal should be Dallas Goedert for the Eagles against the Giants. He had a huge Week 16 game, and with all the injuries to Philly WR, Goedert is one of Carson Wentz’s top targets. You could also target athletic Jonnu Smith for Tennessee, since the Titans chose to eventually involve him enough to make him fantastic. Other options include Noah Fant and Kaden Smith, with Smith being a two-TD hero in Week 16.

One thing to keep in mind, too: Mark Andrews could sit out week 17. The Ravens have pasted the top seed of the AFC and could choose to rest their nails – if Andrews sits, aim for one of them. streams above (or Hayden Hurst in this case, who would be the biggest beneficiary of an Andrews absence).

Note: These ratings will be updated throughout the week, so check back one last time.
