Week 17 PPR RB Fantasy Settings

Mankind’s love for rounded numbers makes one thing about ranking 17 PPR RB almost a guarantee: Christian McCaffrey will reach 1,000 yards. After a long week 16 through the air, McCaffrey is at 933, so he needs a pedestrian relative of him 67 receiving yards to double to 1,000 receiving yards and 1,000 rushing yards in 2019. Considering he is also chasing a number of others Of records, McCaffrey is a safe bet to produce as he usually does from the top of the current ranking behind us.

Beyond McCaffrey, injuries are the RB story of the week. Chris Carson is done for the season. Josh Jacobs is not in our standings, as he seems anxious at best to play this week. For now, we have left Derrick Henry, James Conner and Mark Ingram, though everyone could be at risk of losing Week 17, too.

WEEK 17 NOT RATING:
Quarterback | Running back Wide receiver Tight end D / ST | Kicker

The best part of Henry, Conner and Ingram’s injuries to the savage fantasy owners in the 17-week action is the PPR-specific backs that can be released. If Henry is out, Dion Lewis is a great PPR RB2 game. If Ingram is out, especially with the Ravens locked in, he could be a Justice Hill beginner making his mark in the game he gets. And Jaylen Samuels could get another glass this week if Conner is out.

Beyond these injuries, you will find nothing unusual in PPR RB scores. Travis Homer, a potential Seattle replacement for Carson, may be higher than expected against the 49ers, but hit 6 goals in 8 at week 16 and is nothing more than a PPR FLEX option.

The last back field to watch next week is Minnesota. Dalvin Cook is likely to make his way to the playoffs, but whether it’s Alexander Mattison, Mike Boone or Ameer Abdullah with Week 17’s highest PPR, it remains to be seen. A injured Mattison is out of the ranking for now, but there will certainly be some shifting of those backs as the week goes on.

Reminder: Check back for frequent updates throughout the week, especially with so many injuries and play-off scenarios leaving the rankings in the air.
