Week 17 Rankings Ruby RB: Injuries to Derrick Henry, Mark Ingram, James Conner affect their starts, sit

Not surprisingly, by week 17, back injuries are a major factor in the RB ranking. Fantastic football events playing in the final week of the NFL regular season have certainly realized that they could be bothered by bad timing injuries. Chris Carson may have gotten you that far, but he won’t be able to win your championship in Week 17. At least other injuries, such as Derrick Henry, Josh Jacobs, Mark Ingram and James Conner still have the chance to play. With some of them, it feels like the seat / seat decisions can be postponed until Sunday.

Let’s start with those of you who own Carson. CJ Prosise broke his hand on Sunday, which means former Miami RB tycoon Travis Homer is likely to get a ton of work in Week 17. PPR owners should be fine with that – they’ll be less certain in standard matches against the 49ers, although the defense is not as strong as it was in full health early in the season. Homer would be nothing more than a FLEX game, but if the Seahawks make no noticeable roster move, expect Homer to get a lot of volume.

We’re handling Jacobs differently this week than we’re dealing with Henry, Ingram and Conner. Because of the tone of Jon Gruden’s comments in recent days, Jacobs is kept out of the rankings due to the unlikely to play in Week 17 (though there is a weird play-off scenario where Oakland can still get in, the Raiders will consider it ). If Jacob plays Week 17, you can throw him at a similar point to DeAndre Washington – maybe a few points higher.

Henry, Ingram and Conner remain in the standings for now. Henry is still united because Mike Vrabel has said after Sunday’s game that he hopes to keep Henry out in Week 16 may take him to Week 17. Ingram and Conner’s injuries are new and uncertain. around them. Ingram has the additive that it is likely to be able to sit on because of the sealed Ravens seed. If those three players came out, all three of Dion Lewis, Gus Edwards and Benny Snell Jr. would move to RB2.

For most teams, Week 17 will be about sticking to the rules and trying to get starters up to specific seasonal milestones. This means that if your RB doesn’t get injured, you can probably use it as usual. The two points that we will miss the most are Detroit and Kansas City, where these teams have apparently not settled on one or even two backs.

The worst race this week is probably going to Devonta Freeman in Tampa Bay, but he’s too involved both as a runner and as a cruise ship to take the coach seriously. The biggest boost due to the matchup was Aaron Jones, though you would start with him regardless of whether he took on Detroit’s weak defense. And if you’ve reached the final of Week 17, it could be due to Kenya Drake putting your team on his back. Feel free to trust him once again against the Prisoners.

Some other things to watch for in Week 17: the health of the Minnesota RBs and the health of Myles Gaskin. At the moment, we classify the Vikings as if Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison are out, meaning Mike Boone. We have also left Gaskin until the seriousness of his injury is announced.
