Off-field acquisitions Kawhi Leonard and Paul George have been a benefit for the Clippers as they have combined for an average of about 50 points per game for LA. If it wasn’t for LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Lakers, the Clippers would have been the talk of the city in Los Angeles.

While Thursday’s game against Houston is significant, and even bigger play looms as the team visits the Lakers on Christmas Day in a rematch of the original night slope seen by Leonard and partner.
