After Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stood on the podium bearing the so-called “Map of the Land of Israel” with the annexation of Jordan to give a speech in Paris, the official Jordanian movement protested against the provocation of the minister of the people and of the Jordanian government.

For its part, the Jordanian Foreign Ministry today, on Monday, expressed its firm condemnation and denunciation of the use by Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, during his participation in an event held on Sunday in Paris, of a map of ” Israel” which includes the borders of the Kingdom of Jordan and the occupied Palestinian territories.
In an official statement, a copy of which was received by Agencythe ministry said the minister’s behavior represented “reckless incitement and a violation of international norms and the Treaty of pace Jordanian-Israeli”.
The ministry’s official spokesman, Sinan al-Majali, said his country condemns “the racist, inciting and extremist statements made by the Israeli extremist minister towards the fraternal Palestinian people and their right to exist, and their historical rights in its independence and sovereign state on Palestinian national soil, and warned of the danger of these racist extremist actions,” in his own words.
The ministry called on the international community to “condemn the Israeli minister’s extremist and inflammatory actions and statements, which also represent a violation of human values and principles”.
Call the ambassador
