The Golden Hour is a thrilling series created in the Netherlands. It comes from the makers of “Sleepers” and revolves around a detective named Mardik (played by Nasrdin Dchar). When he learns that his childhood friend Faysal is back in the country, a terrorist attack occurs shortly after. Mardik suspects Faysal’s involvement, but he faces obstacles as an AIVD agent starts suspecting him instead. It becomes a race against time to catch the perpetrators.
Release Date of Season 2 on Netflix
Many viewers have been eagerly awaiting the release of Season 2 on Netflix, especially due to the open-ended conclusion of the first season. The AVRO/TROS produced “Het Gouden Uur” and aired it on NPO3 in the fall of 2022. In the spring of 2023, the good news came that a second season is in the making.
The storyline of the second season has not been revealed by the creators yet. However, it is likely that the search for individuals within the police force who are connected to the attack will continue. The AVRO/TROS and producer NL Film have not announced a release date on NPO.
