The Plot of The Crowded Room

Inspired by a true story, The Crowded Room introduces us to Danny Sullivan, played by Holland. In 1979, Danny was arrested after his involvement in a shooting. The events leading to the incident unfold through a series of interviews between him and interrogator Rya Goodwin, per the synopsis. We learn about the main character’s life, his mysterious past, and the events that eventually led to the shooting.

Actress Amanda Seyfried plays interrogator Rya Goodwin. The cast also includes Emmy Rossum as Candy Sullivan, Sasha Lane as Ariana, Will Chase as Marlin Reid, Lior Raz as Yitzak Safdie, Jason Isaacs as Jack Lamb, Christopher Abbott as Stan Camisa, Thomas Sadoski as Matty Dunn, Zachary Golinger as Young Danny Sullivan, Emma Laird as Isabel, Levon Hawke as Jonny, and Sam Vartholomeos as Mike.
