Where’s Nancy? The arrest of the aggressor in home of the United States House of Representative

The husband of the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives and Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi was brought in hospital for treatment, police said, after an intruder assaulted him after breaking into their home in California.

A spokesperson for the US House of Representatives said the man who assaulted Nancy Pelosi’s husband on Friday morning at the couple’s home was actually looking for the Democratic leader.

“Early in the morning, Paul Pelosi was attacked in his home by an assailant who used force and threatened to kill him, asking to see President Nancy Pelosi,” said Drew Hamill in a note.

The American Media reported that the suspect shouted, “Where’s Nancy?” During the attack, suggesting her motives were political, but San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott said the motive has not yet been determined.

For its part, the White House said that President Joe Biden called Pelosi to express his support after the “terrible attack” and that he was praying for her husband.

Biden said during an election campaign in Philadelphia that “there is no place” for political violence in the United States. The US president added: “This is despicable. There is no place (for him) in America.”

Biden noted that the attacker shouted, “Where’s Nancy?”, As did some of the protesters who stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021, according to numerous media locals.
