Former President Donald Trump Urges Supporters to Give Anheuser-Busch a “Second Chance” At UFC’s Request

Anheuser-Busch faced significant backlash last year due to its Bud Light marketing campaign featuring transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump showed a detailed understanding of Anheuser-Busch’s operations. He highlighted the company’s $700 million annual spending on American farmers, its employment of 65,000 Americans, and its provision of scholarships to fallen military members’ families. Trump questioned if Anheuser-Busch deserved a second chance and referred to it as a “great American brand.”
TKO Group Holdings, the owner of UFC, announced a partnership with Anheuser-Busch in October to make Bud Light the official beer partner of the mixed martial arts company. The deal was reportedly worth $100 million.

As the leading candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, Trump has shown his support for UFC by attending multiple events. He was accompanied by Dana White and Kid Rock during UFC’s Dec. 16 event in Las Vegas.
Trump’s association with the promotion dates back to previous years, having attended other UFC events.
