Will After Everything be on Netflix? What You Need to Know
After Everything, the romantic drama film and the fifth installment of the After series, will be released in theaters on September 13th. But will it also make its way to Netflix, or do you need to use another service to check out this title?
About After Everything
After Everything is not only the fifth, but also the final part of the After series. Well, kind of. The synopsis of this upcoming drama is as follows: “The fifth and final part of the After series revolves around the emotional conclusion of the timeless romance between Hardin and Tessa. They have already experienced everything as a couple, so the only question remaining is: what happens After Everything?” The fourth part, After Ever Happy, ended with a big cliffhanger, which will be continued in the new film. After this, two more films will be released, a prequel from Hardin’s perspective and a sequel about the children of Hardin and Tessa.
Still with us? No? Let’s make it a little more complicated then! The After films are all based on the book series by Anna Todd, which started as fanfiction. After Ever Happy told the story of the last book, leaving After Everything in a bit of a limbo… Most likely, the last book will be used again for the farewell of the film series.
Will After Everything come to Netflix?
Now, the burning question: Will After Everything also come to Netflix? The answer: well, we actually don’t know. What we do know for sure is that Pathé Thuis will eventually have the film, most likely this fall. As for the streaming service, it’s a bit complicated. We are dealing with different markets, and in the United States, all the After parts were already on Netflix. This makes it highly unlikely that the fifth part will be part of Netflix’s offerings. However, as mentioned above, After Everything will definitely be available on Prime Video. So you can always go there to get your fix!
