When it comes to anime series, finding one with a truly unique storyline can be a challenge. However, ‘Bungo Stray Dogs’ stands out among the rest and has gained a dedicated following within the anime community due to its high level of entertainment.

Having successfully completed four seasons, with season five just concluding, fans were left wondering if there would be another season of their beloved series. The final episode of season 5 caused a small state of panic among fans due to a particular issue.
The confusion arose from the episode’s ending caption in Japanese, which mistakenly stated that the work was “finished.” However, the anime’s official website clarified on Friday that this text was a mistake and should have indeed said ‘To Be Continued.’
The error will be corrected in the Blu-ray Disc/DVD release, and Crunchyroll’s subtitle for the ending caption already reads ‘To Be Continued.’
While the staff has not officially announced the next season, they have teased its possibility. However, the studio BONES currently lacks manga content to animate for the series. As a result, it may take several years before the anime’s next season is released.
For those unfamiliar with ‘Bungo Stray Dogs,’ it is considered one of the best series out there. If you haven’t heard of it before or dropped it in the middle of a season, I highly recommend picking it up again, especially as season 5 proved to be one of the most intense seasons yet.
