Today, Monday, the First Fahs Circuit, of the Egyptian Council of State, chaired by Councilor Mostafa Hussein, decided to reject the appeal presented by Mamdouh Abbas and the Olympic Committee, in which asked for the annulment of the first instance sentence issued in favor of the president of Zamalek Mortada Mansour, which includes the annulment of the decision of the Minister of Youth and Sports to suspend the president of Zamalek for 4 years, for the practice of any sport as well as a £ 100,000 fine.

The same circuit has also decided to abandon the dispute in the same appeal presented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, which also includes the same requests.

On May 30, 2021, the Administrative Court of the Council of State decided to accept the lawsuit brought by the President of Zamalek, in which he asked to suspend the decision issued by the Egyptian Olympic Committee, to prevent him from exercising any sporting activity for a period of 4 years.

On 4 October 2020, the Olympic Committee announced that the president of the club Zamalek had been banned from any sporting activity for four years, after several violations attributed to him were ascertained, and demanded that elections be held to choose a replacement president for him.
