The match between Chelsea and Norwich City made Premier League history, entering the record of the “heaviest defeats” of the tournament.
Chelsea scored a 7-0 win in home vs Norwich City, in a match that strengthened Norwich’s last position in championship.
Despite the absence of the two attacking stars, the Belgian Romelu Lukaku and the German Timo Werner, Chelsea have “crushed” Norwich with a large score.
The result became 10th on the list of the greatest historical losses in Premier League, for goal difference between the two teams.
All seven goals came from the feet of the English players, three for Mason Mount and a goal from Reece James, Ben Chilwell and Callum Hudson-Odoi, while England defender Max Aarons scored an own goal.
Chelsea became the first club of the Premier League to score 4 or more English in a single match, since 2016, when Bournemouth repeated the result.
