World Juniors 2020: Team USA scores, schedule, how to stream live

The United States enters the IIHF 2020 World Youth Championships in Czech Repiblic having participated in four consecutive tournaments for the first time in program history.

Last year, the US team lost the gold medal to the game in Finland after a comeback before Kaapo Kakko’s extension to clear the game-winner with less than two minutes left. He scored the 12th medal for Americans and the second silver medal in the nation’s tournament history.

No longer considered a thought, the U.S. is now an established force in the World Juniors circuit and is again a metal contender, opening the tournament behind Canada’s gold medal odds.

The 2020 World Youth Championship format consists of two teams of five teams playing a preliminary round to determine sowing followed by an exclusion tournament. The United States has set up Group B, which also includes Canada, Germany, Russia and the host country, the Czech Republic.

How to Watch USA Games Live Online |

In the United States, World Youth Championship games are only available on the NHL Network, which plans to broadcast 20 live games. American viewers can find a live stream of online gaming by subscribing to NHL.tv or via the NHL app. Stephen Nelson will provide play-by-play for every game of the US team and will be accompanied by analyst Dave Starman and journalist Jill Savage.

USA Women’s World Championships

This year’s team is built around the goalkeeper and the goal.
