The session saw the holding of contact group meetings for Palestine and Jammu and Kashmir, as well as an open-ended meeting of the Ministerial Ad Hoc Committee on Accountability for Human Rights Violations against the Rohingya.
Mauritanian Foreign Minister Mohamed Salem Ould Marzouk said in his speech that the session discussed in thorough and thoughtful way all the points on the agenda, and was characterized by richness and completeness, adding that opinions were exchanged on all the concerns and strategic challenges of the group, in the context of the unprecedented bets that the group is witnessing. He added that the session was in capable of making important decisions and recommendations, confirming the vitality of the organization and heralding the formation of a major breakthrough to achieve the lofty goals for which it was established and to lay the foundations for a forward-looking vision that enhances the earnings and plans for the future.
