Wrexham and Tottenham Face Off in the FA Cup

The amateur league club Wrexham are eagerly awaiting a potential fifth round clash with eight-time champions Tottenham Hotspur after they won their FA Cup fourth round replay against Sheffield United. Meanwhile, Manchester City have been drawn to face Second Division rivals Bristol City in the next round.

The fifth division leaders Wrexham were unable to secure qualification in their home game against Sheffield United, after they equalized in the fifth minute of added time, forcing the clubs into a rematch next month. The winner of this tie will be pitted against Tottenham, who beat Preston North End 3-0 in the fourth round.

Manchester City, who knocked out Premier League leaders Arsenal, will travel to Bristol. Manchester United will face their rivals West Ham United, who won 2-0 in their home game against Third Division rivals Derby County. Brighton & Hove Albion, who beat Liverpool’s champions, will face Stoke City from the Second Division.

The draw for the fifth round, which starts on February 27, is as follows: Southampton vs Luton Town, or Grimsby Town; Leicester City vs Blackburn Rovers, or Birmingham City; Stoke City vs Brighton & Hove Albion; Wrexham, or Sheffield United vs Tottenham Hotspur, Fulham, or Sunderland vs Leeds United; Bristol City vs Manchester City; Manchester United vs West Ham United; Ipswich Town or Burnley vs Sheffield Wednesday or Fleetwood Town.
