Xbox Live is down tonight, with over 20,000 reports coming in from fans affected by the current outage.

The good news is that Microsoft is aware of the problems and looking to fix them right now.

The bad news is that we don’t know how long it will take for the engineering team to fix everything.

There is no ETA on when servers will be back online or how long Xbox One and Xbox Series X consoles will be affected.

“We’re currently investigating reports of users unable to sign in to the Xbox Network,” a message from Microsoft reads.

“You may not be able to sign-in to your Xbox profile, may be disconnected while signed in, or have other related problems. Features that require sign-in like most games, apps and social activity won’t be available.”

Gamers affected by today’s outage are reporting issues signing into their accounts, consoles, and web services.

One user reports: “It just now logged me in but now it says I need to pay for the games, but the store says I’ve already bought and then the same message pops up after.”

Another adds: “Why is everyone losing their minds because they can’t use live for most likely a very small amount of time? Man, if the electrical grid ever goes down we are really screwed.”
