Xbox Series X allows you to continue multiple games

At the 2019 Game Awards, Microsoft introduced the Xbox Series X, the next-generation game console. The 2020 console’s new website reveals details about backward compatibility and the new controller. But Xbox CEO Phil Spencer and Team Xbox’s program management partner, Jason Ronald, teamed up with GameSpot to reveal an upgrade to Xbox One’s game lock feature.

“Today we can immediately resume the last game you played,” Ronald told GameSpot. “Why can’t you do that for multiple games? Many players choose to play multiple games at once. You can jump back to where I was right away. These are things we can do with the platform level to improve the gaming experience . “

With the Xbox Series X, you can pause and resume multiple games at the same time – without stopping the jet engine of a console in your entertainment center. Spencer claims that the X series runs very fast. This means that if you continue Red Dead Redemption 2, even if you just played Destiny 2, you won’t have to go through long.

The locked game is one of our favorites of this generation. When you turn off your console, Xbox One hovers your game. The system is not running, but it will remember exactly what you have just done and where your character has been. In contrast to automatic saving, which consoles have been using for several generations, there is no longer a need to wait long to be active again when stopping.

With the Xbox Series X, players can theoretically play a rotating number of games at any time. If you are waiting for a friend to sign up for a Fortnite game, you can head to a lobby and return to the single player game you are playing. When it’s time to celebrate, swap again without wasting time.

We won’t know how many games players can expose – or whether the feature works as well as we hope – until more information is released.
