The open beta for the Xbox Series X/S version of Final Fantasy 14 has officially begun! This beta is designed specifically for newcomers to the game, so if you already have an existing Final Fantasy 14 account on another platform, you’ll have to wait for the full Xbox launch.
The beta started at 3am ET / 8am GMT and will last for an unknown period of time. After the beta ends, the full version will be launched for Xbox Series X/S, with the ability for beta players to transfer their data.
The Series X version of the game supports 4K graphics and both Series X and Series S versions have fast loading times. Additionally, the Expanded Free Trial, available on PC and PlayStation consoles, will also be available on Xbox. This allows players to play through the base game and its first two expansions up to level 70 with no restrictions on playtime.
