Sponsorship of Saudi Arabian Development and Reconstruction Program celebrates People with Disabilities Week to provide health care in efficiently and effectively by providing tools adapted to their needs and helping to develop their skills through various community activities serving 413 beneficiaries of people with disabilities.
The Saudi program for the development and reconstruction of Yemen takes into account the needs of people with disabilities in various basic sectors. In the education sector, the program has worked to create 27 model schools that meet the needs that allow people with disabilities to use school facilities, in what is established according to the highest standard and specifications; To create an educational environment suitable for this valuable group to meet their abilities and needs, in way to develop their skills and talents and improve their integration into society.
Persons with disabilities benefit from development projects and initiatives presented by the Saudi Arabian Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen in the health sector, which total 25 development projects and initiatives, in how much the program has provided support to 17 medical centers by providing them with medical assistance equipment and devices, and has contributed to increasing the efficiency of the services and the quality of the services provided to people with disabilities and to various groups of Yemeni society.
The Saudi Arabian Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen has established (224) development projects and initiatives that have directly and indirectly impacted positively on persons with disabilities and have been implemented in various Yemeni governorates in (7) basic sectors, namely: education, health, water, energy, transportation, agriculture and fisheries Strengthen the capacity of government institutions, as well as development programs.
