Zack Snyder DC Films to Be Screened at SnyderCon in Los Angeles

Director Zack Snyder has revealed what he was teasing in his DC-related Vero posts over the past week.

Snyder said in a stream on the YouTube channel The Nerd Queens that Man of Steel, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League will all be shown at SnyderCon in Los Angeles in April. The movies will be shown on April 28, 29, and 30. On April 30, the IMAX version of Justice League will be shown.

Later this month, tickets to the event will go on sale, and the following is the plan:

On April 28, Man of Steel will be shown at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. After the movie, there will be a Q&A panel.
On April 29 at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, the movie Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice will be shown, and fans can get their copies signed.
The movie Justice League by Zack Snyder will be shown on April 30 at Universal City Walk in Universal City, California. After the movie, there will be a Q&A panel.

Snyder talked about why he wanted to do this event, saying it is a “coming together of different things.”

At the beginning of the stream, Snyder said, “It’s kind of a nice coming together of different things.” “I had always wanted to show my three DC movies in the theatre simultaneously, but it was one of those things we were never sure would ever happen.

“Because the Justice League movie in IMAX… We’ve watched the black-and-white version of it a few times. I was curious if we could get the color version into the theatre again, but I wanted everyone to see the movie in IMAX because it was made for that format. It’s meant to be seen on an IMAX screen. It’s a different movie when you see it in IMAX than when you watch it on TV.

Snyder’s last DC movie was Justice League, which came out in 2021, almost four years after the first Justice League movie came out. Snyder made this movie version, which was called the director’s cut. It had more characters than the theatrical cut and ran for over four hours. Late in 2022, director James Gunn and producer Peter Safran were made Co-CEOs of DC Studios. This caused many changes to the TV and movie projects that DC was working on.
