Ready or Not Update 1.5 (1.001.008) Adds Mission Editor and UE5 Fixes

VOID Interactive released Ready or Not Update 1.5 (Console Version 1.001.008) on September 4, 2026, introducing an official Mission Editor designed to increase replayability through custom scenario creation. The update also addresses technical issues stemming from the game’s transition to Unreal Engine 5 and resolves specific achievement tracking bugs on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Mission Editor and Customization

The Mission Editor is now available for both Single-player and Friends-Only lobbies. It allows players to modify existing maps with specific parameters across two distinct interfaces:

  • Basic Tab: Quick adjustments for standard mission variables.
  • Advanced Tab: Granular control over NPC spawn points, the placement of door traps, and specific AI behaviors.

According to the official VOID Interactive changelog, there is a known issue where the “Suspect Fire Rate” setting does not save properly.

New Weapon Styles and Ammunition Changes

Update 1.5 adds three free weapon styles for existing equipment. These styles use specific naming conventions to denote their finish:

  • MK-V “HC”: Hard Chrome finish.
  • 590M “FDE”: Flat Dark Earth finish.
  • M32A1 “LSPD” Blue: Law Enforcement departmental colors.

In terms of combat balance, the 6.5×48 JHP ammunition has received a damage increase. This change corrects a previous issue where the round was performing weaker than intended.

Performance and Console Fixes

Technical improvements in this version focus on stability following the move to Unreal Engine 5. Performance optimizations target shader stutters and VRAM leaks. For console players, Update 1.001.008 specifically corrects achievement and trophy tracking for “Eye of Providence” (PS5) and “Nosce Te Ipsum” (PS5/Xbox).

SWAT AI pathing has also been refined. This includes a fix for the “Stolen Valor” mission, where AI officers would frequently become stuck on bathroom doors while attempting to clear rooms or follow movement orders.
